1. Q: When are NEO Group lessons?

A: There are *at least* 2 * 1-hour lessons per week.  Fridays at 10am GMT & Sundays at 2pm GMT (Greenwich Mean Time).  Use this to convert to your local timezone:  https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html

note:  Bonus lessons are also often scheduled, but these are not at set times every week

2. Q: Why are there only 2 NEO Group Lessons per week?

A: Every lesson is carefully prepared & delivered by NEO founder, Pam.  Even though NEO group is cheap, we take pride in the high quality of our lessons and services, and want to maintain that.    

3. Q: I am not available on Fridays.  Can I just come on Sundays?

A: Absolutely!  Many students only attend 1 lesson a week, and still find NEO Group excellent value for money.  The Friday & Sunday lessons cover the same material, in a slightly different format.  If you can attend both, you will benefit from the repetition.  If you can only attend one, that is fine.  Learning English is a marathon, not a sprint.

4. Q: I attend another online course.  Will this conflict with it?

A: No!  Attend as many courses and programs as you wish.  NEO Group is a great supplement for any English study you are doing.

5. Q: There are other groups with more Live Lessons and more materials.  Why should I choose NEO?

A:  At NEO you study the same thing at the same time as your classmates.  THIS IS IMPORTANT.  Research shows that studying together online (synchronous learning) has better results than self-study online (asynchronous learning).  Over 80% of people who buy online courses do not finish the course!  Language-learning is especially hard to learn alone.  

Studying together keeps you motivated, accountable, and engaged.  You share ideas, get feedback, and support each other. This leads to higher participation, better understanding... and improved learning outcomes.  

6. Q: NEO Group is on Discord?  What is Discord?  I don't have it, and I don't want to learn another platform!

A: Don't worry!   Just click the link to take a free 2-week trial and follow the prompts... you will land in the NEO Discord group.  It is very easy to use; just like Facebook or Instagram.  Just try it!

7. Q. I want to see recordings of the Live Lessons.  How can I?

A: You can't.  This is out of respect for every student's privacy.  But you can access the Zoom Chat and the whiteboard notes from every lesson in our group.  If you read the PDF, review the Zoom Chat and whiteboard notes and do the Quiz every week, you will gain as much knowledge as watching a recording of the lesson.  If you need more, ask for help understanding the PDF in the Group Chat; Pam will provide it via chat answers or links to videos.

8. Q. Can I get a refund if I don't like it?

A:  Because of our low price, we have a no-refund policy.   BUT!  You can cancel anytime, and your subscription will expire at the end of the month.

9. Q: How do I cancel?

A: Simply click the cancel button here, and follow the prompts.

10. Q. What happens if Pam gets sick and cannot teach?

A: If possible, Pam will arrange for a qualified trustworthy teacher to use her materials and methodology to teach you.  If that is not possible, Pam will reschedule any missed lessons.  You will not miss out on any learning because of us!

1. Q: How do I schedule a NEO Study Plan meeting?

A: Click the yellow button 'Learn More' button on the Services page, under NEO Study Plan.  It will prompt you to give your email address & answer some questions about your needs.  We will then contact you within 48 hours to schedule a meeting. 

2. Q: How many meetings does the NEO Study Plan include?

A:  Generally, it includes 2*20 minute meetings.  One meeting for Needs Analysis and another meeting to explain your Study Plan.  

3. Q: Why should I pay so much just for 2*20 minute meetings?

A:  You are not paying for 2*20 minute meetings.  You are paying for an analysis of your level, needs and guidance about how to achieve your goal, provided by an expert English teacher.  The study plan will suggest only free apps, websites, exercises and AI prompts, as well as free NEO original material.   It will also teach you exactly how to use them.  This will save you a lot of wasted time & money, as you will not need to pay for online courses, textbooks or other lessons.  You will become an efficient, independent learner of English, able to achieve your goal yourself.

Q: How do I schedule a consultation?

A: Go to the Services page, click the yellow 'FREE Consultation' button under NEO Coaching.  It will prompt you to provide your email address schedule an appointment, and auto-save the time and Zoom link to your calendar, if you allow.  If not, be sure to keep a memo of the time and Zoom link.

Q: How much does it cost?

A: That depends on you!  NEO Coaching allows you to pay for Pam's time, not her lessons.  So Pam can work as closely or as distantly as you wish on any number of tasks.  

    For example, you may want weekly Zoom meetings to improve your English for business, generally.  Or you may want Pam to be ready for sudden, last-minute lessons to check and coach you for upcoming presentations.  Or you may want no Zoom meetings at all, but you would like Pam to check your emails once a day before you send them.   Anything is possible!

Q: How is NEO Coaching better than learning Business English through a large company?

A:  1. With large companies, you have little knowledge of the coach you will get.  At NEO, your teacher is Pam: a highly-qualified, experienced and popular teacher.  On the rare occasions Pam is not available a similarly qualified teacher will be suggested.

      2. With large companies, there is no room for flexibility.  NEO Coaching is totally centred around YOUR needs.  Pam suggests, but *you* control what you get.  This includes the option of work DONE FOR YOU.

Q: Why do you offer an NDA (non-disclosure agreement)?

A: This is for your peace of mind.  You will probably want to share confidential information so Pam can help you clearly.  This information will be respected and kept private.

Q: Why should I ask NEO to help me?  I can contact the schools directly.

A:  You can.  But it will cost you the same to go through schools or go through NEO.  And NEO can provide a buffer for your negotiations with the schools.  NEO can also advise you on which schools and which courses might suit you best.

Q: I don't want to study in Australia.  Can NEO help me study somewhere else?

A:  Sure!  We recommend Australia because it is safe, sunny and gets positive feedback.  But we can support your dream to study in Canada, the UK, the US, the Philippines... just ask!
